WHERE IS GRAPE AGATE FOUND?

Grape Agate is a relatively new discovery first appearing in the market in about 2016. It is primarily found on Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. This region has become known for its rich deposits of grape agate, and it remains the primary source of this gemstone. Grape Agate is only sourced from a very small area, making it quite rare and hard to come by. The unique formation is a result of the interaction between volcanic activity and mineral-rich water that permeated through the earth's layers over a period of time. As the water evaporated, it left behind concentric layers of chalcedony, giving rise to the grape-like formations that make grape agate so distinct and sought-after.
