AGATE

Agate is a variety of Chalcedony, which is a mineral of the Quartz family. Agate comes in a range of colours including red, blue, green, yellow and brown.

Agate can be found in a number of locations around the world. Some localities include Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico, Australia and The United States.

There is over 100 different varieties of Agate, each with unique, colours, patterns and properties. Some of the most well known Agate varieties include -
