AZURITE

Azurite is a vivid blue mineral made of copper. It has a deep blue colour and can occur in association with Malachite.

Azurite can be found in numerous localities. Some of the localities include -

Azurite is believed to have various metaphysical properties. Some of the metaphysical attributes associated with Azurite are -

Both Azurite and Malachite are copper carbonate minerals, but differ in colour and appearance. Azurite is a deep blue colour and Malachite is light - dark green. There is also a difference in crystal structure. Malachite forms in a more botryoidal or fibrous structure, where as Azurite tends to form in prismatic crystals or as aggregates of small crystals.
