Spirit Amethyst, also named Cactus Quartz, Pineapple Quartz, or Fairy Quartz, is a unique variety of Quartz. It is distinguished by its vibrant colouration and distinct formation. It is light lavender to deep purple in colour and may also contain shades of white or clear quartz. Its formation typically contains one main point that is coated in numerous, tiny druzy crystals, giving it a spiky "cactus-like" appearance.

Spirit Amethyst is only found in one region in the world which is South Africa.

Spirit Amethyst forms with a central crystals surrounded by many smaller points, where as Amethyst forms as single, larger crystals. Amethyst also has a smooth surface and Spirit Amethyst has a spiky, textured appearance.
